The TheWiSpy dashboard is one of the simplest dashboards I have seen on any spy app so far. You get some basic tracking details on the dashboard itself like Device information where you get information like phone battery status, Android version, Network carrier, etc. It also provides the target person’s current location on the map so that you can know where they have recently been.

Besides that, it also shows you the latest incoming calls and messages along with the phone activities that shows your kids or spouse activities in the bar graph format. With this, you can know which app or feature of their phone they are using the most.

Overall, the TheWiSpy dashboard is very cool and minimalist, you will love it as it provides basic details about the target device on a single page without even a single click.

What Features Do You Get On TheWiSpy?

1. Messages

The messages section of the app works really well as it tracks all the messages that are sent or received on your loved one’s phone. It shows all the message threads, so you can select any of the threads to read the entire conversation between the target and another person.

By reading your spouse’s messages you can catch them if they are cheating on you. While testing TheWiSpy I found that, once the messages are synced they do not get deleted from your account even if they are removed by the target person from their device.

The time it takes to sync the messages depends on whether the target device is connected to the internet or not. If it is connected to the internet then it won’t take long before you can read their messages remotely.

2. Calls

Just like messages, all the calls received and made from the target device are tracked by TheWiSpy and it provides you with the call log within a few minutes.

The best part is that it even shows the name of the contact with whom your loved ones were talking to. With this feature, you can know who someone is texting.

Also, it shows the duration of the call and its type i.e. whether it was a received call, dialed call, or a missed call.

3. Locations

By keeping track of your loved one’s location history you can know which places they visit behind your back. This feature also ensures the safety of your young ones as you can quickly reach them whenever they are in trouble. It shows you their latest location on the map as well as shares with you the address and longitude latitude value of their location to make location-tracking easier for you.

You can also choose to see the location in the regular Map view or Sattelite View. Also, you can have a Street view of the surrounding by dragging the Pegman icon to the desired location on the map.

With the Street view, you can have a better idea about the place your loved’s recently has been to. While testing I found that it may not track each and every location your kids or spouse has been to but most of the time it works well.

4. Calendar Events

This feature of TheWiSpy tracks the upcoming plans of the target person that they have listed on their calendar. With the help of this, you can know what they have been hiding from you. It also shows you the start and end time of the event that they have marked on their calendar which makes spying even more effective.

In my testing, I found that it was quick to collect the data and reflect it on my TheWiSpy account.

5. WiFi Logger

Here you will get the information related to all the WiFi networks the target phone was connected to. It shows you the name of all the WiFi routers or mobile hotspots your kid’s phone was connected to but unlike most other spyware you cannot block any WiFi neither does it share with you the location of the WiFi. Nonetheless, it is still a decent feature to have.

6. Photos & Videos

Getting access to the target person’s photos is one of the highlighted features of TheWiSpy. Here it shows you all the pictures stored on your kids/spouse’s phone on your account remotely. It fetches all the photos be it a screenshot, captured, or downloaded pics. Apart from just seeing the photos, you can even download them on your device by clicking on the download icon.

Also, you can double click on the photo to view it in large size to have a clear idea of what it is all about.

Apart from photos, it also shares with you the video files stored on the target device. However, in my case, it was not able to sync the videos maybe because of the poor internet connection in my area while testing the app.

7. Contacts

In this section, you get the list of all the contacts stored on the target device with names and phone numbers. A newly added contact takes up to 15 to 20 minutes to reflect on your account. Moreover, if there are hundreds of contacts on the target device you can search for the one you are looking for by typing their name or number in the search bar at the top right corner.

8. Record Audio, Video, And Screen

TheWiSpy also enables you to remotely record the screen, audio, and video on the target device. With the help of these features, you can know what your kid is currently doing on their phone by recording their screen. Whereas with the help of audio and video recording, you can know about their surroundings without them knowing.

In my test, I was only able to get the recorded audio, screen recorder and video record didn’t work for me. However, the audio it recorded was very clear and you can clearly listen to their surroundings remotely.

Apart from just listening, you can even download the recorded audio and keep it as proof when you confront your kids, lover, or spouse regarding it.

9. Take Pictures

Besides recording audio and video, you can even take pictures from the target device without them knowing. It even gives you the option to take pictures either from the front or rear camera. Once you have selected the camera you need to press the Take Picture button and it shall capture the pic right away.

The taken picture will reflect under the same section in a matter of a few minutes provided that the phone is connected to the internet.

Also for this feature to work the phone must be in active mode and connected to the internet. I personally liked this feature of TheWiSpy a lot.

10. Call Recordings

The call recording is a great feature that lets you listen to someone’s phone calls without being physically present at that location. This app records all the calls that are made or received on the target phone and remotely syncs them to your TheWiSpy account. Apart from listening to the call recording, you can even download the audio file on your device by pressing the download icon next to each recording.

While testing, I found that the audio clarity of the phone calls was not that great but they are clear enough to understand what they are talking about.

11. Geo-Fencing

Geofencing is a great feature to keep track of the whereabouts of your loved ones. With this feature, you get notified every time the target person leaves a set boundary by you. It’s easy to create a geofence on TheWiSpy, you just have to select a location on the map, add a name to the geofence, and area of the geofence i.e. how much area you want to mark as a safe zone for your kids, and then click on Save.

With this, the geofence is set up and you will get notified each time the target person leaves the safety zone.

12. Remote Lock

This is a feature that parents would love to use as with this they can remotely lock their child’s phone whenever they feel that their kid is using the phone too much. You just have to press the Remote Lock button once and immediately the target phone will get locked.

I have tested this feature multiple times because it was so fun to see the phone getting locked remotely by just a press of a button without touching the phone.

13. Social Media Messages

If you worry about the safety of your kids or doubt your spouse is cheating on you with someone then you need to keep track of their social media messages. Luckily, you can do that with TheWiSpy as it allows you to track Snapchat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Tinder, Tinder, Kik, IMO, and much more.

14. Gmail

Apart from the social media messages, TheWiSpy can also track emails for you. It fetches all the emails sent over Gmail on the target device. However, it adds a miscellaneous text with the original email which sometimes makes it hard to read the actual conversation between your kids/spouse and another person.

15. Browser History

This section provides you with all the data related to the target person’s internet surfing history. It tracks all the searches of your kids or lover with the name of the browser it was made on.

Moreover, I tried it on an Incognito window and it was able to track all the web pages that were visited anonymously.

16. Settings

TheWiSpy offers you a Settings option using which you can enable or disable some of the features that you don’t want to track on the target phone. Just toggle off the feature that you don’t want to monitor and it will immediately stop tracking it.

This is a good thing considering it gives you authority to track only those aspects that you care about the most like their social media messages, call logs & recordings, photos, etc.

Does TheWiSpy Effect The Working Of The Target Phone?

This is a question you should ask each time you go for a spy app because if spyware causes lagging and heating issues on the target phone then the target person may get suspicious. Luckily, I didn’t face any major heating or lagging issue while testing this app.

But it does consume some battery while running in the background and consumes a lot of data. If your kids or lover is using cellular data instead of WiFi then they will get suspicious about who is eating on their data pack. Also, I could not find a way to restrict data syncing to WiFi-only which is found on most of the spy apps.

To write this TheWiSpy review I have tested this app for days and have very mixed feelings about it. Some of its features work really well like social media messages, call logs and recording, location tracking, remote locking, etc. But at the same time, some features including Geofencing, Keyword alert, and screen recorder didn’t work for me.

However, that doesn’t mean that these features will not work for you either. If you opt for the premium plan then all the features may work well for you also if they don’t then you can ask for a refund anytime within the first 10 days of purchase.
